On April 3-4, as part of the work to extend industrial cooperation in the field of civil aircraft engineering in the Eurasian Economic Union countries, the Eurasian Economic Commission's delegation headed by Artak Kamalyan, EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture, took part in the signing ceremony of Agreements on cooperation between the Belarusian State Aviation Academy and Polytechnic University of Armenia and Aviation Training Center of Armenia in Yerevan.
The sides agreed to carry out joint research, share experience, organize joint educational programs within the secondary professional and higher education, as well as training of highly qualified personnel in graduate schools, elaborate proposals to improve the use of innovations in the activities of air transport and its infrastructure, as well as implement joint programs to upgrade the skills of aviation personnel.
“The signing of the Agreements will become the starting point for intensifying practical cooperation between the educational organizations of Armenia and Belarus within the Eurasian Economic Union. Today, the real economy of our countries desperately needs young specialists. The training of highly qualified personnel for the aircraft engineering is our paramount objective,” Artak Kamalyan emphasized.
During the working visit, the delegation also visited Echmiadzin Instrument Making Factory CJSC, which is included in the consolidated list of interested industrial enterprises of the Eurasian Economic Union States ready to participate in implementing joint cooperation projects in the civil aircraft engineering. Relevant matters of the Eurasian cooperation in manufacturing aviation components and personnel training were discussed with the enterprise's management.
