Irene Melkonyan appointed Deputy Director of EEC Administrative Department
Irene Robertovna Melkonyan graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Yerevan State University in 1996 as well as the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in 1999.
She is Master of Science in Economics and Management. She is fluent in English.
From 1997 to 2019, she held various positions in the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia. She rose through the ranks from Junior Specialist to Head of Division of Cooperation with International Organizations at the External Relations Department.
In 2019-2021 she was Deputy Head of the External Relations Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
On February 15, 2021, she was appointed Deputy Director of Administrative Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
