30 Jul 2025 EEC and Rosselkhoznadzor discussed relevant matters of cooperation On July 29, Goar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held a working meeting with Sergey Dankvert, Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), and Tigran Petrosyan, Head of Armenia's Food Safety Inspectorate. The sides emphasized the high level and fruitful nature of interaction between the services, both in resolving issues related to the development of bilateral trade and in working within the EEC. 28 Jul 2025 Georgy Arzumanyan presented financial support mechanism for EAEU industrial cooperative projects Georgy Arzumanyan, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Industrial Policy Department, presented the financial support mechanism for industrial cooperative projects in the EAEU at a round table organized by the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers). “Providing targeted information to businesses jointly with business associations about financial support opportunities for expanding technological modernization of production facilities in the EAEU Member States is an important task,” Georgy Arzumanyan emphasized. At the round table, representatives of Bank DOM.RF JSC and SME Bank JSC informed on the terms of financing projects in the manufacturing industry; representative of SME Corporation JSC reported on support measures for small and medium-sized businesses; and representatives of the Russian Export Center Group of Companies and Moscow Export Center ANO reported on support measures for exporting producers.

24 Jul 2025 The EEC industrial cooperation opportunities at the Central Asian International Economic Forum Director of the Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission Nikolai Kushnarev spoke at the panel session of the Central Asian International Economic Forum "The role of international organizations in the development of Eurasian cooperation" in Dushanbe held on July 22. Central Asia is a region for new formats of interaction". In his speech Nikolay Kushnarev noted the key aspects and possible prospects for the development of integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union and the role of Central Asian states therein. The Head of the EEC Department emphasized that in order to ensure sustainable long-term development of the EAEU and Central Asian economies, it is necessary to focus joint efforts on a technological breakthrough in key modern industries, such as microelectronics, mechanical engineering and robotics, by developing and implementing innovative solutions that will create the basis for the transition to new technological formats. "Central Asian countries have significant resource potential and are characterized by dynamic growth of manufacturing industry capacities. Here we have a good possibility both for the countries' participation in the creation of joint high-tech industries in the EAEU, and possibilities for Eurasian investments and new technological partnership," Nikolay Kushnarev emphasized.

11 Jul 2025 EAEU countries developing industrial cooperation The meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Advisory Committee on Industry chaired by the EEC line minister Goar Barseghyan considered a number of relevant matters of the real economy of the Eurasian Economic Union countries. In particular, the Commission's report on the results of monitoring the implementation of the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation was approved, and the consolidated forecast balances of supply and demand of the EAEU States for the main types of industrial products for 2023 and 2024, as well as for two forecast periods – 2025 and 2026 – were agreed. The implementation of the supranational financial support mechanism for cooperative projects in the manufacturing industry was discussed. “The Committee Members discussed possible mechanisms for optimizing work in the field of industrial subsidies and adjusting certain provisions of the Treaty on the EAEU in terms of providing information on such planned subsidies,” Goar Barseghyan mentioned as well.
