Gohar Barseghyan
Born in the city of Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.
She graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Yerevan State University, with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations (2007) and a Master's degree in International Law (2009).
In 2011, graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (Austria).
From 2009 to 2014, served in the Foreign Relations Department of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. She was in charge of coordinating the Armenian-Russian relations and was included in the Working Group on the accession of the Republic of Armenia to the Eurasian Economic Union.
2014–2015: Deputy Director of Foreign Relations Department of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Armenia.
2015–2016: Adviser at the Ministry of International Economic Integration and Reforms of the Republic of Armenia, where she was in charge of coordinating the work on interaction between the Republic of Armenia and the EAEU.
2016–2017: Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of the Republic of Armenia, national coordinator of the Republic of Armenia on EAEU affairs.
2017–2020: Deputy Director of the Integration Development Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
2020–2024: Director of the Integration Development Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
On February 1, 2024, by decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council she was appointed Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
