Anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes from India extended for five years

The Eurasian Economic Commission's Board extended the anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes from India up to and including March 31, 2029.

"The decision was adopted following a repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Department for Internal Market Defense on May 17, 2023 due to the expiration of the applied measure on the basis of the application submitted by the goods manufacturer from the Eurasian Economic Union," noted Andrey Slepnev, EEC Minister in charge of Trade.

The anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes from India was established in 2018. The duty rates are currently 16.04% of the customs value for HEG Limited and 32.83% for Graphite India Limited and other manufacturers of graphite electrodes. The anti-dumping measure was extended for the period of repeated investigation.
