Thereby, the plant manages to progressively improve technologies and conduct professional retraining, which finally significantly increases the plant's efficiency, which occupies a leading position in the Russian sugar industry and demonstrates long-term development plans.
Besides, some issues were discussed on developing programs for breeding and seed production of sugar beet, including in the field of science and technology development, to obtain competitive seed material, combat counterfeit and low-quality seed products, international cooperation and exchange of experience.
“One of the most pressing issues today is to join efforts of the EAEU countries' breeders and seed growers in the production of seeds of sugar beet hybrids,” the EEC Minister emphasized. "The Eurasian Economic Commission is ready to provide support in building this interaction. Increasing the self-sufficiency in sugar beet seeds is the work that our countries should do together.”
During his visit to the chips factory of Vee Fry LLC in the Lipetsk special economic area, Artak Kamalyan noted the enterprise's high manufacturability and well-coordinated cooperation with private farms.
“The potato product sub-complex is traditionally one of the priority directions for developing the EAEU agricultural sector,” Artak Kamalyan noted. "It is gratifying to see the production of high value-added potato products, which certainly increases the industry profitability as a whole. Therefore, the potato processing market becomes interesting for both processors and agricultural producers.”
