EEC and NRU MPEI discussed cooperation in energy sector
Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Nikolay Rogalev, Rector of the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), discussed key areas of cooperation in the energy sector.
The meeting noted the possibility of developing cooperation on the creation of Eurasian technological platforms, training personnel for the energy industry of the EAEU countries at the Eurasian Network University (ENU), as well as the establishment of an efficient system of scientific research in priority areas for the EAEU countries.
"Qualified personnel training in a network form, including the use of distance learning technologies, fully meets the existing and future needs of the labor market of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the Center of Digital Energy and Engineering created at ENU is the basis for cooperation in the field of digital energy and engineering between member universities," Arzybek Kozhoshev noted.
Vadim Zakrevsky, Director of the EEC Energy Department, gave a lecture on "Energy Issues and Outcomes of Energy Integration in the EAEU for 2024".
Representatives of the Commission visited the Center of the National Technological Initiative "Technologies of Electric Power Transportation and Distributed Intelligent Energy Systems", as well as the GOELRO Museum.
