The Ministers of Transport of the EAEU will discuss transport policy within the Union and issues related to the collaboration between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Silk Road Economic Belt

Page ContentOn December 4, Moscow will host the fourth meeting of the authorised transport bodies of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). It will be chaired by the Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tair Mansurov. The meeting agenda will include discussion of the draft Main Directions and stages of the coordinated (agreed) transport policy, the measures taken during of the transition period of the Program of phased liberalisation of operations conducted by the carriers established on the territory of one of the EAEU Member States, the road transportation of goods between locations on the territory of another EAEU Member State, for the period from 2016 to 2025. The draft Agreement on navigation and information on the preparation of the draft Common Approaches to the requirements and procedure for the issuance of railway safety certificates will be considered. Additionally, the agenda will include the issues related to the interaction between the Union countries on association of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Silk Road Economic Belt. Following the meeting, a press briefing will be held. We invite journalists to ask their questions of interest.
