EEC Board established transition period for amendments to Union's Technical Regulation "On safety of small vessels"
The Commission's Board approved the procedure for enacting amendments to the Customs Union's Technical Regulation "On safety of small vessels", which were adopted by Decision No. 119 of the Commission's Council dated November 20, 2023 and will come into effect on May 1, 2024.
The document is of a secure nature and provides that previously issued documents on conformity assessment (certificate of classification, certificate of conformity) of small vessels, life-saving appliances and equipment for small vessels will be valid until their expiration date.
During the validity period of these documents, it will be allowed to circulate the products put into circulation during their service life.
