"Owing to your efficient performance, the Russian Federation has strengthened the status of a great power and the State’s social and economic development is ensured", the congratulatory letter reads. “You stood at the origins of creating the Eurasian Economic Union and are one of the most consistent and active supporters of its development. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you give to the Eurasian Economic Commission and the invaluable contribution you make to solving the integration tasks we are faced with".

The Head of the EEC Board wished Vladimir Putin, his family and relatives good health and well-being as well as peaceful skies and prosperity to the Russian Federation.
