The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has published the results of an expert review of the legal regulation and competition policy in the Eurasian Economic Union with relevant expert recommendations.  This is the first time that the OECD has reviewed the Commission's activities. The work done by the OECD experts includes a detailed analysis of the EAEU competition law, procedural acts, competition policy and law enforcement in the EAEU, the EEC structure and functioning, the efficiency of existing regulatory institutions in the sphere of competition, international cooperation and advocacy of competition. Some recommendations for their improvement have been provided. The review results will improve the efficiency of the EEC's activities for developing and protecting fair competition in the Union’s transboundary markets.
