As compared to the same period last year, the volume of loans granted to legal entities in the national currency in Q1 2024 increased by 5% in Armenia, 30% in Belarus, 29% in Kazakhstan, 25% in Kyrgyzstan, and 22% in Russia.
Significant growth of lending in foreign currency was observed in Kyrgyzstan (2.3 times), while in Armenia it decreased by 12%.
At the beginning of June 2024, a decrease in the cost of lending was recorded in Armenia by 8.25% (-0.25 p.p.), in Kazakhstan by 14.50% (-0.25 p.p.) and Kyrgyzstan by 9.00% (-4.00 p.p.). National (central) banks of Belarus and Russia kept the rates at 9.50% and 16.00%, respectively.
