Representatives of EEC and Eurasian Association of Cardiologists discussed formats of cooperation

Altynai Omurbekova, Director of the EEC Department for Labor Migration and Social Protection, and Irina Chazova, President of the Eurasian Association of Cardiologists, discussed the development of cooperation in healthcare between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Eurasian Association of Cardiologists on June 16 in Moscow at the EEC's site.
Altynai Omurbekova spoke about the work to expand economic cooperation in healthcare between the Eurasian Economic Union States, which is carried out in accordance with the Strategic Directions for Eurasian Integration until 2025. In particular, the Director of the EEC Department emphasized the need to ensure the availability of modern healthcare achievements for citizens of the Member States, including the use of telemedicine technologies, and to develop cooperation between the Union countries in the field of ongoing medical and pharmaceutical education with the use of modern learning technologies.

In her turn, Irina Chazova noted that the association was a union of Eurasian countries' medical community, which promoted the most complete and comprehensive development of health care, medical science and education, as well as the professional growth of medical specialists conducting research, teaching and practical work in cardiology and related disciplines in Eurasian states.

The meeting participants noted their interest in deepening cooperation, including through support for holding joint congresses, conferences and seminars in the EAEU countries.
