Alexei Overchuk

Alexei Overchuk

He was born on December 9, 1964 in Korostyshev, Zhytomyr Region of Ukraine.

In 1986, he graduated from the Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, specialty “Economic Cybernetics”. He is PhD in Economics.

In 1986-1993, he served as senior assistant at the Department of Economic Cybernetics, junior research assistant, research fellow, senior research fellow at the laboratory for economic mechanism improvement of the Timiryazev Academy.

In 1993-1998, he was Chief Specialist, Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation of the RF State Committee on Land Resources and Land Management.

From April to July 1998, he served as Head of the Department of State Registration of Real Estate Rights of the State Land Committee of the Russian Federation; from July to December 1998, he was Head of the Information Management and Analysis Department of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Land Policy, Construction and Housing and Utilities.

In 1998-1999, he was Head of the Information Management and Analysis Department at the State Land Committee of the Russian Federation; from 1999 to 2000, he was Head of the Information Management and Analysis Department of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Land Policy.

In August 2000, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Federal Land Inventory Service of Russia.

Since April 2004, he served as Acting Deputy Head, and since July 2004, he was Deputy Head of the Federal Real Estate Cadaster Agency.

In 2007-2008, he was Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones.

From 2008 through 2010, he held senior positions at the UFG Asset Management Group of investment companies.

In 2010, he was Advisor to the Head of the Federal Tax Service.

Since 2011, he served as Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service.

By Presidential Decree, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation on January 21, 2020.
