Validity period of temporary "increased" allowance of duty-free import of goods for personal use ended on April 1
The Eurasian Economic Commission notifies that the validity period of temporary "increased" allowance of duty-free import of goods for personal use, sent by international mail and delivered by carrier, as well as imported in accompanied and/or unaccompanied baggage by land transport or on foot ended on April 1, 2024.
As of April 1, the allowances are:
200 euros and 31 kg – for delivery by mail or carrier
500 euros and 25 kg – for land transportation.
The "increased" allowances have been in effect since April 2022 (first for goods delivered by mail and carrier and then for land transport). They amounted to 1,000 euros and 31 kg (except for the Republic of Armenia, for which the allowances remained at 500 euros and 25 kg for land transport).
