Bakytzhan Sagintaev took part in International Exchange Forum
On November 16 in Almaty, Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, took part in the International Exchange Forum "The Role of Exchanges in Transforming Financial Markets", organized by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC as part of the 11th Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan.
During the plenary discussion, the Forum attendees considered current trends and prospects for developing the capital markets and exchange business.
The panel discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in the financial market, organisation of trading in state securities, IPOs and attracting retail investors. Besides, the event focused on developing new instruments and services, as well as the ESG agenda in the financial market.
On the sidelines of the Forum Bakytzhan Sagintaev held a number of meetings on creating the Eurasian Economic Union's common exchange space, mutual admission of securities, brokers and dealers to the EAEU countries' exchanges.
