EEC approved updated lists of standards for technical regulations on products intended for children and adolescents

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the updated lists of standards for the technical regulations of the Union "On Safety of Products Intended for Children and Adolescents".

As part of the update for a wide range of products intended for children (for example, bicycles, baby dishes, pacifiers, diapers, etc.), the canceled standards have been replaced with new ones. Four methods have been included, which were developed by the Commission as part of research on the indicators not ensured by the methods of their assessment and control (to identify acetophenone, E-caprolactam, benzopyrene, and toluene diisocyanate). A number of departmental documents, which official texts are not available, have been excluded to ensure the principle of transparency provided for by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.

Replaced standards are temporarily left in the list. A period of validity has been established for them in order to provide a transitional period.
