EEC issued caution in transboundary market of scooter rental services

The Eurasian Economic Commission's Competition and Antitrust Regulation Unit has issued a caution to Financial Director of Whoosh.

The caution was issued in relation to a public statement made by Alexander Sinyavsky, Financial Director of Whoosh, about a possible significant increase in the cost of rates for scooter rental services, which was posted on the website of the Interfax Information Group.

This public statement may have a significant impact on the commodity market of scooter rental services and may lead to competition violations prohibited by Article 76 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.

A caution may be issued both to a natural person and to an economic entity's official if a public statement about the planned behavior in the transboundary market may lead to a violation of the general competition rules.
