The Eurasian Economic Union’s Technical Regulation "On safety of products intended for civil defense and protection against natural and man-made emergencies" (TR EAEU 050/2021) was adopted by Decision No. 100 of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council dated October 5, 2021 and comes into effect on June 1, 2023.

The transitional provisions will enable to gradually adapt to new requirements and switch to uniform conformity assessment documents.

For example, it will be possible until January 1, 2025 to manufacture and put products into circulation according to national conformity assessment documents issued prior to enacting the technical regulations or without conformity assessment documents, if such a procedure was not provided for at the national level.

Along with that, the products manufactured in accordance with the transitional provisions are allowed to circulate within their entire life cycle.
