Vladimir Serpikov and Syria's Ambassador to Russia Bashar Jaafari Discussed Conclusion of Memorandum of Cooperation with the EAEU
Vladimir Serpikov, Director of the Trade Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held a working meeting with Bashar Jaafari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation, to discuss the draft Memorandum of Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
"Currently, Syria is focused on economic cooperation with the East. In this regard, it is strategically important for us to develop interaction with such associations as the EAEU, SCO and BRICS," Bashar Jaafari emphasized.The parties reviewed the content of the future Memorandum and agreed to work on accelerating the procedure of its signing.
