Kasymali uulu Kanybek was born on December 25, 1989. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (Kyrgyz Republic), with a degree in international relations. He has also achieved a master's degree at the School of Public Policy and Management under the Korea Development Institute (Republic of Korea), specialty: Development Policy.

He worked in the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2016 to January 2019, he headed the Section for Work with the Eurasian Economic Union in the Directorate for Coordinating the EAEU and the WTO Issues at the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since January 2019 before joining the Eurasian Economic Commission, he held the position of Expert in the Project Development Sector of the Section for Strategic Development Policy, Economy and Finance at the Presidential Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since August 17, 2020 he has been serving as Deputy Director of the EEC Trade Policy Department.
