The EEC Working group on regulatory impact assessment of draft decisions of the Commission

 

The main tasks of the Working group shall be:

preparation of opinions on the regulatory impact assessment of draft decisions of the Commission;

consideration of the need for regulatory impact assessment of the EEC draft decisions

The EEC Working group on the regulatory impact assessment of draft decisions of the Commission was established by the Decision No. 25 of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board dated March 31, 2015.

The current composition of the Working group was approved by the Instruction No. 57 of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board dated May 30, 2017 (as amended by the Instruction No. 27 of the EEC Board dated February 13, 2018). The Working group is composed of officials of the Commission’s structural units and representatives of the business community coordinators of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The EEC Working group on the regulatory impact assessment of draft decisions of the Commission is headed by the Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy Timur Mekeshevich Zhaksylykov.

Deputy Head of the EEC Working group on regulatory impact assessment of draft decisions of the Commission is Director of Business Development Department of the EEC Galiya Tagiberdievna Dzholdybaeva.

In 2015, 22 meetings of the Working group were held, 80 issues (draft decisions of the EEC) were considered.

In 2016, 17 meetings of the Working group were held, 46 issues (draft decisions of the EEC) were considered.

In 2017, 23 meetings of the Working group were held, 76 issues (draft decisions of the EEC) were considered.
