Regulation on the Committee | Composition of the Committee
The main tasks of the Committee shall be:preparation of recommendations for the Commission in the sphere of intellectual property;
advising on issues in the sphere of intellectual property;
preparation of proposals on interaction of the authorized authorities of the Member States in the sphere of intellectual property;
preparation of proposals on draft recommendations of the Commission to the Member States in the sphere of intellectual property;
consideration of other issues in the sphere of intellectual property within the framework of consultations, including at the request of a Member of the Board, whose jurisdiction includes issues in the sphere of intellectual property, as well as preparation of relevant proposals.
The Advisory Committee for Intellectual Property was established by Decision No.172 of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board dated September 25, 2012.
The Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Intellectual Property is the Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy Timur Mekeshevich Zhaksylykov.

The working body of the Committee is the Sub-committee for coordination of actions on protection of objects of intellectual property.
