About the
Department
The Transport and
Infrastructure Department is a structural subdivision of the Eurasian Economic
Commission, which maintains the Commission's activities in the sphere of
transport, infrastructure and natural monopolies of the Eurasian Economic
Union.
In its activities,
the Department is governed by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated
May 29, 2014, other international treaties constituting the law of the Union,
decisions and decrees of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian
Intergovernmental Council, the Council of the Commission and the Board of the
Commission, as well as the Regulations on the Department.
The Department carries out its activities using its own resources and in cooperation with other structural subdivisions of the Commission, as well as, within its competence, with the Advisory authorities and working groups established by the Commission, public authorities, local governments, other authorities or organizations of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States, international organizations, legal entities and individuals of the Member States.
