The Chairman of the Board,The Eurasian Economic Commission

organizes the activities of the Commission's Board and bears responsibility for the exercise of its functions;

draws up, according to the determined procedure, draft plans for meetings of the Commission's Board and the Commission's Council for the next period, agendas for meetings of the Commission's Board and the Commission's Council, and draft agendas for meetings of the Supreme Council and the Intergovernmental Council;

reports to the Commission's Council, the Intergovernmental Council and the Supreme Council on matters requiring their decisions and on other documents with respective proposals following their consideration at meetings of the Commission's Board;

determines operation procedure for the Commission's Departments and matters within their competence;

organizes the preparation of meetings of the Commission's Board, the Commission's Council, the Intergovernmental Council, and the Supreme Council;

chairs meetings of the Commission's Board and represents the Commission's Board before the Commission's Council;

determines the procedure for interaction with representatives of the media, the rules of public speaking for officials and employees of the Commission;

acts on behalf of the Commission as the administrator of the Union's budget;

appoints the Directors and Deputy Directors of the Departments and the Commission's employees following a competition;

approves regulations on the Departments of the Commission.
