Eldar Alisherov

Biography

Eldar Alisherov was born in 1985 in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2007, he graduated from Saint Petersburg State University with a degree in World Economy; in 2017, he completed his Master studies at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic specializing in State and Municipal Management.

His public service employment started at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic where in 2008–2010 he rose through the ranks from Section Head to Assistant Minister.

From 2011 to 2014, he worked in the business sector.

From 2014 to 2017, he served as an assistant and adviser to the First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2018 to 2022, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2022, he was appointed Head of the Eurasian Economic Union Affairs Section at the Presidential Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since March 1, 2023, by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, he was appointed Member of the Board — Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Eldar Alisherov has earned a number of governmental awards.

He is State Councillor of State Civil Service, 3rd class.

He is married and has three children.
