National marketing authorization certificates for medical devices to be used in EAEU until their expiry date
Since January 1, 2022, medical devices will be registered only under the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union. They may be registered under national regulations until December 31, 2021. This decision was adopted by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on April 5.

Outcomes of EEC Council
At its meeting on April 5, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved a plan for implementing the Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025, re-extended until September 30, 2021 the period of stay within the Eurasian Economic Union's customs territory for cars and other vehicles temporarily imported by individuals for personal use, and extended the validity of zero import customs duty rates for polyurethane and epoxy coatings used as protective coatings for manufacturing optical fiber.

Period of stay in EAEU extended for cars temporarily imported by individuals for personal use
On April 5, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission extended until September 30, 2021 the period of stay within the Eurasian Economic Union's customs territory for cars and other vehicles temporarily imported by individuals for personal use. According to Oleg Pankratov, Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation, the period of stay has been extended because measures to prevent and avert spreading COVID-19 coronavirus infection and border crossing restrictions will remain in effect after March 31, 2021.
