17 May 2016 The EEC Board approved a Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the World Customs Organization On May 17, during the session of the EEC Board two questions in the area of customs cooperation were approved.

17 May 2016 EEC Minister Tatyana Valovaya met the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore Koh Poh Koon. On May 17 Eurasian Economic Commission hosted talks between Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya and the delegation of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, led by Minister of Trade and Industry Koh Poh Koon.

17 May 2016 The EEC Council approved the further decrease in import customs duty rates in order to fulfil Russia’s commitments as a WTO member On May 16, the session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the further decrease in import customs duty rates in order to fulfil Russia’s commitments as a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The new duty rates on most goods will come into force from September 1, 2016.

16 May 2016 The EEC Minister Mukaj Kadyrkulov discussed issues of cooperation with the WCO Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya On May 11-13 in Cancun (Mexico) in the framework of the third global conference "Security evolution in global trade: excellent partners, innovative technologies and smart practices", a working meeting of the EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of customs cooperation Mukaj Kadyrkulov with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Kunio Mikuriya was held.

12 May 2016 Minister of the EEC Timur Suleimenov spoke about the preferences for the EAEU citizens working in the Union. On May 12, Moscow hosted the International Conference "Social Insurance in the Eurasian Economic Union Member States. Practices, Problems, Prospects" where Member of the Board -Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Timur Suleimenov, spoke about the preferences provided by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to the citizens of the Member States working in the Member States of the Union.

11 May 2016 The EEC Board considered the issue of fulfilling commitments for state support of agriculture by the Member States of the EAEU On May 10, the session of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission considered the Report on the state support of agriculture for 2013 and the Review of the state policy in the field of the agroindustrial complex and state support of agriculture in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for 2014 presented by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Industry and the Agroindustrial Complex of the EEC Sergey Sidorskiy.

11 May 2016 The EEC Board approved the technical regulations of the EAEU "Requirements for liquified hydrocarbon gases used as fuel" On May 10, the Board of Eurasian Economic Commission adopted a number of decisions and dispositions in the area of technical regulation. In particular, it approved the draft decision of the Council of the Commission “On the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "Requirements for liquified hydrocarbon gases used as fuel”.

11 May 2016 EEC Minister Karine Minasyan: "We are just beginning to form the case law of the Board’s work in the identification and elimination of barriers and restrictions to mutual trade of the countries of the Union” On May 10, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted the decision “On fulfilling commitments in the mutual trade in regenerated paper, cardboard, paper for recycling and waste within the framework of operation of the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union by the Republic of Kazakhstan".
