Tatyana Valovaya: “The EAEU opens up new possibilities for Swiss business”

Eurasian Economic Commission and the World Bank Initiate Joint Analytical Work on Creating the Eurasian Economic Union Digital Space
Moscow, November 17, 2016 – This week the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the World Bank have signed an agreement to implement a joint research project on reaping the economic benefits from creating a shared digital space in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, including through development of shared digital platforms.

The heads of government of the EAEU countries approved the Common Customs Code
On November 16, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held a session in Gorki (Moscow region, Russia), attended by the heads of Government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU): the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation, where the EAEU Common Customs Code was approved.
