24 May 2018 SPIEF-2018: the first business dialogue in the EAEU-ASEAN format The representatives of business and official circles, business associations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) gathered for the first time to discuss the prospects for cooperation on the venue of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2018. The discussion was held on May 23 in the format of a business lunch “EAEU-ASEAN commercial and economic cooperation. The role of Russia.”

23 May 2018 EAEU countries and Singapore developing cooperation Development prospects of trade and economic relations between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and the Republic of Singapore were in the focus of attention of the second session of joint working group on interaction between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the government of Singapore. 22 May 2018 EEC zeroed out customs duties for certain goods containing precious metals Issues of trade, integration, customs cooperation and agricultural sector were considered at the session of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board on May 22. Import customs duty rates in the Single Customs Tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for certain types of goods with the content of precious metals have been reduced to zero; a set of documents for information interaction of the Union’s authorized authorities and the EEC countries upon formation, keeping and application of the unified register of varieties of agricultural plants has been approved, a number of other decisions have been adopted aimed at deepening the Eurasian integration.

18 May 2018 The semi-finalists of ”Eurasian Digital Platforms” Competition were identified in the Republic of Belarus The winners of Belarusian semi-final of the International Competition of Innovative Projects “Eurasian Digital Platforms” included four developments. They are the early lung disease detection system “Light Breathing”, a solution for simplification of settlements in export and import operations and fund raising “Eurasian Factoring Platform”, the system for certification of goods, services, and processes “CertChain” and the “PR Education” project meant to form a steady learning habit in children.
