The reference model of the “single window” for the foreign trade operators will be created before the end of 2017 EEC Board Session results
On March 21, the session of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held in Moscow. Among the key issues of the agenda were: progress of work on the formation of a “single window” in the foreign economic activity regulation system; the amendments to the Technical Regulations “On the safety of products intended for children and adolescents”, which allow expanding the use of modern materials and reduce the costs of producers.

Decisions of the EEC Council stimulate the development of national economies of the EAEU States
On March 17, Moscow hosted a session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The decisions to ensure consumer safety and efficiency of Phytosanitary control in the States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were adopted.

Kyrgyzstan will get assistance from Kazakhstan in adaptation of the country’s economy to the requirements of the EAEU
On March 17 in Moscow, at the session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic signed documents on the provision of technical and financial assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the process of adaptation of the country’s economy related to its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The Republic of Armenia started implementing the EEC recommendations on reducing the deficit of the consolidated general government budget
On March 15, in Moscow, an agreement on establishing a joint Russian-Armenian investment fund was signed. The agreement was one of the results of the implementation of recommendations adopted by the EEC Board.

On March 15, in Moscow the EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of integration and macroeconomics Tatyana Valovaya and the Director General of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) Pavel Kabat discussed analytical support of the discussion on cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union, as well as the outcome of the implementation of the project "Challenges and opportunities for economic integration within the Eurasian space", implemented by IIASA with a wide range of engaged experts.

EEC Minister Valery Koreshkov: "The Commission is preparing a recommendation for the formation of the unified policy in the field of consumer rights protection in the EAEU States"
Recommendations “on defining approaches to the unified policy for the protection of consumer rights in the EAEU States will be developed in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). This was stated by the EEC Minister in charge of technical regulation Valery Koreshkov at the forum dedicated to the World day of consumer rights protection. In particular, issues related to remote trade and internet-trading will be taken into account. The best national and international practices, including in the field of personal data protection were taken as a basis. The work is scheduled to be finished until the middle of 2017.

The EEC is working on removing barriers in international road transport in the EAEU
At the site of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the 15th session of the Subcommittee on road transport was held. During the session under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director of the Transport and Infrastructure Department of the EEC Maxim Asaul, members of subcommittees -representatives of the competent authorities of the EAEU Member States, associations of international road carriers and businesses discussed issues impeding the development of international road transport in the EAEU Member States.
