02 Aug 2019 EEC's Interaction with the Indonesian Government Will Enable Enhancing Trade and Economic Cooperation Between the EAEU Countries and Indonesia The trade and economic relationships between the EAEU countries and Indonesia are developing increasingly fast. Today, Indonesia is the fourth biggest trade partner of the Eurasian Economic Union among the ASEAN countries in terms of trade turnover. In the last three years, the mutual trade turnover had increased by 35% (to $3 bln), with the EAEU export growing by 76% (to $1.1 bln) and import by 18% (to $1.9 bln). This was stated by Sergey Shukhno, Director of Integration Development Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission at the business forum “Towards Strategic Partnership Between Indonesia and Russia: Intensifying Fruitful Cooperation in Tourism, Trade, and Investment”.
