Business program architecture was published at the official website of the 4th International Exhibition Forum “Eurasian Week – 2019”. The Forum will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on September 25-27, 2019 and will bring together more than 2,000 participants – representatives of government and business, experts from development institutions, financial regulators, experts from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Member States and the Union partner countries.

EAEU encourages exporters to third countries

EEC Minister Serik Zhumangarin summed up the results of joint work within expert review of the EAEU competition law
To strengthen cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and national competition authorities and to develop a program for mitigating punishment for violators of competition in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – these and other recommendations are contained in the expert review of the EAEU competition law, presented by the division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on competition law and consumer protection. The review presentation was a key event of the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy of UNCTAD, held in Geneva, Switzerland.

Viktor Nazarenko: “It is important for the EAEU to create a system for informing about dangerous products and establishing mechanisms for effective interaction between regulatory (supervisory) authorities and customs and law enforcement bodies”
In order to prevent the circulation of products in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market which fail to meet the requirements of technical regulations as well as to prevent violations in the sphere of conformity assessment in the Union countries some systematic measures are being implemented to improve the efficiency of state control (supervision) as well as to ensure cooperation between regulatory (supervision), customs, law enforcement and accreditation authorities. This was stated by Viktor Nazarenko, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the 17th meeting of the Advisory Group on Market Surveillance (MARS Group) within the framework of the Working group on standardization policy and regulatory cooperation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE WG 6). The meeting of the Working group was first held on July 8-9 at the EEC Headquarters in Moscow.
