EAEU updated list of standards supporting its Technical Regulations concerning combustible natural gas prepared for transportation and use
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted amendments to the list of standards supporting the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “On safety of combustible natural gas prepared for transportation and (or) use”.
The amendments were prepared following the results of monitoring the adoption, updating and cancellation of the relevant standards in the area covered by the Technical Regulations considered.
The resolution adopted will help enhance the reliability of the product indicators measured by using new or upgraded standards that contain the certified research (testing) and measurement methods.
A transitional period has been set with regard to using the standards being replaced.
The lists of standards are updated to create conditions for applying the current versions of standards and ensure a systematic transition from the national standards to the interstate ones.
