06 Apr 2017 Land under crops and vegetable production in EAEU to increase by 11% in 2018 According to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the vegetable production in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Member States has increased by 13% in the last five years, and in 2016 it was 24 million tonnes. About 70% of the Union’s vegetable production have been contributed by the Russian Federation. This announcement was made by Stanislav Buben, the Director of the Agroindustrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), at the Third International Agrarian Forum on Vegetable Crops “VegCult” 2017 that took place in Krasnogorsk, the Moscow Region.

04 Apr 2017 EEC offers unified approaches towards regulation of pharmaceuticals market in EAEU “The common pharmaceuticals market in the EAEU requires not only the unified regulation that is already in place based on the adopted regulatory acts, but also the unified approaches,” said Arman Shakkaliev, the Director of the Department of Technical Regulation and Accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the conference “State regulation and Russian pharmaceutical industry in 2017: dialogue continued”.
