14 Dec 2016 The EEC Recommendations contribute to the formation of conditions for food security of the Union On December 13, the EEC Board adopted a Recommendation to promote interaction and cooperation of the EAEU States in innovation and research activities in the field of the agroindustrial complex. The document will form the basis for research and implementation of the technology transfer in the Union countries.

14 Dec 2016 Valery Koreshkov: “The Advisory Committee will promote agreed policy in the field of consumer protection in the EAEU” The first meeting of the Advisory Committee on protection of consumer rights in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was held in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of technical regulation Valery Koreshkov determined the main directions to develop common approaches in conducting coordinated policy of the Union countries in the area. They include e-commerce, international air transportation, financial, and travel services.

13 Dec 2016 EEC and UNESCAP discuss further areas of cooperation On December 12, during the meeting in the Eurasian Economic Commission in Moscow, the EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of Economics and Financial Policy Timur Suleimenov and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Shamshad Akhtar discussed prospects for further cooperation between the EEC and the UNESCAP.

13 Dec 2016 Mukai Kadyrkulov: “We are ready to discuss pairing of transit systems under the condition of equality and mutual benefit with the European Union and China” The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are ready to discuss pairing of transit systems and the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators with their trade partners. This was stated by the EEC Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation Mukai Kadyrkulov at the 76th session of the Political Commission of the World Customs Organization.

13 Dec 2016 The Advisory Committee of the EEC on financial markets approved a draft Agreement on auditing activity on the territory of the EAEU The Agreement on auditing activities in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was approved at the meeting of the Advisory Committee on financial markets chaired by the EEC Board member - Minister in charge of economics and financial policy Timur Suleimenov.
