This was stated by Mikhail Yusov, Deputy Head of the Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at the round table "Prospects and Challenges in Developing General Aviation" on the sidelines of the 11th Iran International Airshow & Aerospace Exhibition - 2022.
“Of course, it is useful to exchange experience with industry experts from the country that has been engaged in import substitution and diversification of supply lines for decades. This experience can be useful for the EAEU States' aircraft manufacturers faced with the challenging task of planning their activities in the current geopolitical conditions,” Mikhail Yusov said.
The Commission's experience within implementing the roadmap for extending industrial cooperation in the field of civil aviation in the Eurasian Economic Union countries for 2022-2023 aroused great interest among representatives of the Iranian public authorities and aircraft enterprises.
According to the EEC representative, work in some areas contained in this document is possible with the involvement of third countries. Primarily, this entails such a tool as the Eurasian Technological Platform "Civil Aircraft Engineering", approved in October this year.
