26 Oct 2016 EEC Minister Valery Koreshkov: "Trade facilitation and acceptance of internationally agreed requirements ensure closer integration and further relevant advantages” On October 26, Minsk hosted the International Conference of the UN Economic Commission for Europe "Framework for economic integration and sustainable development in the UNECE region until 2030.” Within the framework of the Conference, thematic session “Trade and Standards: introducing commerce elements" was held, that was organized by the Working group on standardization policy and regulatory cooperation (WG 6 of the UNECE). The moderator of the session was the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Deputy Chairman of the Working group Valery Koreshkov.

26 Oct 2016 Effective mechanisms for the implementation of the industrial policy in the EAEU were discussed at the Eurasian Week Forum & Expo On October 26, in Skolkovo Innovation Center, on the "fields" of the Eurasian Week Forum & Expo under the Moscow International Forum for Innovative Development “Open Innovations”, the roundtable on “Effective mechanisms for the implementation of the industrial policy in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was organized. The central themes of the event were the issues of use of effective instruments for industrial cooperation: creation of Eurasian technological platforms, creation of Eurasian industrial cooperation and subcontracting networks, technology transfer, development of other objects of industrial and innovation infrastructure.

26 Oct 2016 The EEC Board approved the program for the formation of a common electricity market of the Union and the Main directions of coordinated (agreed) transport policy of the EAEU On October 25, a regular meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan. A number of important issues in the spheres of integration and macroeconomics, trade, customs cooperation, economics and financial policy, industry and agro-industrial complex, technical regulations, energy and infrastructure were discussed.
