20 Apr 2016 Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan: "Today, we are sure that it is the effectiveness of regional integration associations that will define the global development trends” On April 19, during the first meeting of speakers of parliaments of the Eurasian countries "Interparliamentary cooperation for the common welfare of countries in the Eurasian region in the 21 century" that was held in Moscow, the Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan outlined a number of regional and global trends that in the short and medium term will have an impact on the development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). These are globalisation and regionalisation.

18 Apr 2016 At a session of the Advisory Committee on the Energy of the EEC, the programme for creating a common electricity market of the Union was considered. On April 18, at a regular session of the Advisory Committee on Energy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure Danil Ibrayev, the program of creating a common electricity market of the Eurasian Economic Unity (EAEU) was considered.

15 Apr 2016 The Intergovernmental Council approved the Provision on the formation and functioning of Eurasian technology platforms and the concept of creating a Eurasian Machine Tool Engineering Centre. On April 13, there was a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Gorki, Moscow Region. The heads of Government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union approved the Concept of creating a Eurasian Machine Tool Engineering Centre. The concept was developed by the industrial section of the Commission, in conjunction with the EAEU Member States in accordance with the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation within the Union. This strategic document defines the Machine Tool Centre as one of the tools of industrial cooperation between the Parties.

15 Apr 2016 The session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council addressed a number of important issues aimed at further deepening of the integration. On April 13, there was a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Gorki, Moscow Region. The summit was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Andrey Kobyakov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg Pankratov, and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Tigran Sargsyan.

15 Apr 2016 EEC Minister Tatyana Valovaya spoke about the prospective projects in the EAEU On 14 April, Moscow hosted the International Conference “InvestRos” where Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration Development and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Tatyana Valovaya, held a session entitled "Investment in the Eurasian Economic Union" and reported on the directions of development of the Eurasian integration in the short term.
