Valery Koreshkov took part in the seminar Technical Regulation in the Field of Children’s Games and Toys in the Customs Union Member-States
On January 22, Valery Koreshkov, Member of the Board (Minister) for Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), took part in the seminar Technical Regulation in the Field of Children’s Games and Toys in the Customs Union Member-States, held in Moscow at RIA Novosti’s site. The Association of Children’s Goods Industries (ACGI) was the facilitator. CEN/TC 52 Chairman Christian Wetterberg, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Toy Industries of Europe (TIE) Daryl Scrivens, ACGI President Antonina Tsitsulina, as well as representatives from the EEC Department for Technical Regulation and Accreditation, and major international and Russian companies took part in the seminar.

Report on restrictive measures applied in third countries to goods from the Customs Union member-states
As of December 2012, 95 restrictive measures were identified, which hinder access of the goods from the Customs Union member-states to the market, including 44 antidumping measures, 12 sanctions of economic nature, 5 discriminatory excise taxes, 5 quota limitations, 5 technical barriers, 4 duties, 3 administrative barriers, 2 non-tariff measures, 3 agreements on suspension of antidumping investigations, 2 special protective measures, 1 ban on import, 1 nomenclature-based restriction of export, and 1 threat of imposition of a technical barrier
