09 Mar 2017 The EEC forecasts growth of production of agricultural products in the EAEU countries in 2017 At the meeting held on March 7 in Bishkek, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council considered issues of food safety and import substitution. Prime Ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States approved mid-term forecasts of the supply and demand for the main types of agricultural products, as well as the forecast of development of the agroindustrial complex prepared by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). In 2017, as compared to 2015, production of agricultural products in the EAEU countries will increase by 8%, mutual tradeo= of the products - by 15%, and exports - by almost 20%.

03 Mar 2017 Easier search for markets for agricultural products and processed products for the EAEU businesses As a part of the integrated information system of foreign and mutual trade of the Eurasian Economic Union, an information subsystem of the AIC of the Member States is in development. It will give businesses insight into needs for certain products in a specific region of the Member States, as well as volumes of imports and production. The Eurasian Economic Commission agreed the Requirements for the subsystem and communication procedure for its formation.
