Belarus and Kyrgyzstan remove barriers in the field of taxation
Belarus and Kyrgyzstan remove barriers regarding VAT on certain types of agriculture and fish farming commodities. Change of taxation will occur within the framework of the activity to remove obstacles for the free movement of goods and services on domestic markets of the Eurasian Economic Unity (EAEU) and prevent their occurrence.

The procedure for crossing the border between the EAEU and Iran can be simplified
At a bilateral meeting in Geneva, the EEC Board member - Minister in charge of energy and infrastructure Adamkul Zhunusov and the Minister of roads and urban development of Iran Abbas Ahundi discussed plans for cooperation in the fields of transport and infrastructure. They discussed simplification of procedures for the crossing of the border between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran, providing favorable conditions for transit and development of transport corridors.

Medicines in the EAEU may become five times cheaper
Medicines in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) may may become five times cheaper, and automobile spare parts and perfumery and cosmetic products two or three times cheaper through the introduction of a “parallel” imports for these goods. This was reported by the EEC Board member - Minister in charge of competition and antitrust regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Nurlan Aldabergenov at a session with the heads of antimonopoly bodies of the Member States held in Moscow on February 28. According to the EEC Minister, the “parallel” imports will significantly reduce prices in the EAEU States for many imported goods.

Baby toys, entertainment items and electric household appliances in the EAEU States will become safer
The EEC Board endorsed a prohibition on the use of high-intensity loose magnets and small size magnets in toys, established transitional provisions for technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on entertainment facilities and dangerous substances in electrical and radioelectronics products, adopted a number of other important decisions in the areas of technical regulations, industry and agroindustrial complex, and customs cooperation.

The EAEU opens up new possibilities for European business
“The German business considers the establishment of the EAEU economically reasonable," said the Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan about the results of the study conducted by the Russian-German Chamber of Foreign Trade before the Conference “New rules, new spaces - opportunities in Russia and the EAEU”. Tigran Sargsyan and the EEC Board members - Ministers Karine Minasyan and Mukai Kadyrkulov were the main speakers of the forum, which brought together more than 400 representatives of German business, already engaged in business on the territory of the Union States or considering investment opportunities in the EAEU States.
