10 Jun 2016 The EEC has signed an Action Plan for Cooperation with the CIS Electric Power Council On 10 June, the Electric Power Council of the Commonwealth of independent States (CIS) held a session at the level of the heads of the authorised authorities in the energy sector where an Action Plan for Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the CIS Electric Power Council (EPC) was signed. On behalf of the CIS EPC, this document was signed by President of the Council, Energy Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, and on behalf of the EEC by Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Commission, Danil Ibrayev.

10 Jun 2016 The EAEU countries agreed not to “break” existing national markets but coordinate their work in order to organise centralised trade in electricity On 10 June, for the first time, Dushanbe (Tajikistan) hosted a meeting of leaders of the authorised authorities of the States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the energy sector, led by Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Danil Ibrayev with the participation of the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council (CIS EPC) Evgeny Mishuk. The meeting participants discussed the formation of the common electrical power market in the EAEU.

10 Jun 2016 The Advisory Committee on technical regulation of the EEC approved the draft amendments to the technical regulations of the EAEU "On toy safety" to be sent for public discussion. On 9 June, the Advisory Committee on technical regulation, sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary measures of the Eurasian Economic Commission held its previous session chaired by Member of the Board - Minister in charge of technical regulation of the EEC Valery Koreshkov where attendees reviewed a wide range of issues in the sphere of technical regulation and the application of sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary measures.

On June 7, the Eurasian Economic Commission held a session of the board chaired by Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan where attendees reviewed a number of issues in the sphere of technical regulation.

09 Jun 2016 The EEC congratulates all on World Accreditation Day On 9 June, the Director of the Department of Technical Regulation and Accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Arman Shakkaliev sent a letter of congratulations in honour of World Accreditation Day to the accreditation authorities of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
