On behalf of the Eurasian Economic Commission and in his personal capacity Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Chairman of the EEC Board, expressed condolences to Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all Iranian people on fatalities resulting from the explosion in the Shahid Rajai port near the city of Bandar Abbas.

"It is with deep sorrow I received the news about the tragic accident that resulted in human casualties," the telegram reads. "Commiserating on the pain of the loss, I offer my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured."
