EEC discussed declaration of medicines
The issue of declaring pharmaceutical substances, intermediates, reagents and materials for producing medicines imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union was considered at a meeting of the working group on customs declaration under the specialized Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The meeting was held at the EEC's headquarters under the chairmanship of Grigor Oganyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Department for Customs Legislation and Law Enforcement Practice.
In particular, in order to automate and control movements of such goods, it is proposed to indicate coded information voluntarily, to optimize its processing and subsequent use.
The Working Group on Customs Declaration was established in 2022 by decision of the Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation. Its areas of expertise include declaration of goods, including the form of and procedure for filling in a release request prior to submitting a customs declaration.
