Samat Kulmambetov appointed Director of EEC Domestic Markets Operation Department
Samat Kulmambetov was born in 1978 in Bishkek. He graduated from the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture (majoring in Global Economy).
He began his career in 2001 in the Macroeconomics Department of the Center for Economic and Social Reforms under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, working in the positions of Category I Specialist and Leading Specialist.
From June 2004 to February 2006, he worked as a Leading and then Chief Specialist in the Customs Tariff Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In 2006–2007, he was the Chief Specialist and the Head of the Department of Customs, Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic.
From April 2007 to January 2018, he headed the Department of Customs Policy and Non-Tariff Regulation and the Customs Tariff Policy Directorate at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic.
From January 2018 to May 2021, he was Deputy Head of the Department for Affairs of the Eurasian Economic Union, Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation and Integration of the Government Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Head of the Department — Head of the Secretariat of the Special Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for Affairs in the Eurasian Economic Union of the Government Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Republic.
From May 2021 to March 2023, he held the office of Deputy Head of the Department for Affairs of the Eurasian Economic Union of the Directorate for Preparation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers at the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
From March 2023 to April 2024, he headed of the Sector for Affairs of the Eurasian Economic Union of the Foreign Policy Department at the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On May 2, 2024, he was appointed Director of the EEC Domestic Markets Operation Department.
