Talgat Momyshev appointed Director of the EEC Technical Regulation and Accreditation Department

Talgat Amangeldievich Momyshev was born in 1968 in Shchuchinsk (Kazakhstan).


Graduated from Zhambyl Hydromelioration and Construction Institute in 1990 and from Almaty Institute of Economics and Statistics in 2001.

He began his career in 1997 as a Department Head of Zhambyl Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification, then became deputy head of this center.

From 2000 to 2003 he was Director of Almaty branch of RSE "Metrology".

From 2003 to 2005 - First Deputy Director of RSE "State Research and Production Center "Kazsertiko", Head of Production Department of JSC "National Center of Expertise and Certification" in Astana.

From 2005 to 2010 - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2010-2014, he headed the Committee for State Inspection in the Oil and Gas Complex of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He then worked as Chairman of the Environmental Regulation Committee, State Inspection in the oil and gas complex of the same Ministry.

In 2017-2018, he was the State Inspector of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2018 to 2019 - Deputy Akim of Zhambyl Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2019 to 2021 - Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2021 to 2023 - Vice-Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2023 to July 2024, he headed the National Accreditation Center of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since July 18, 2024, he was appointed Director of the Technical Regulation and Accreditation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
