Andrey Slepnev: "EAEU and Mongolia have agreed on the remaining issues in the draft interim trade agreement"
The Eurasian Economic Commission hosted a meeting of Andrey Slepnev, EEC Minister in charge of Trade, with Luvsannyamyn Gantumur, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia, member of the State Great Khural.
"We held productive negotiations, during which we discussed in detail all outstanding issues related to the draft interim trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia. We reaffirm our focus on further development of cooperation with Mongolia as our nearest neighbor and a friendly country, with which we traditionally have warm relations," Andrey Slepnev noted.
Negotiations on concluding an interim trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia are held in accordance with Decision No. 3 of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated May 8, 2024.
