EEC and FBA strengthen cooperation on business development and financial markets
Bakytzhan Sagintaev, EEC Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy and Chairman of the FBA Supervisory Board, and Li Shobin, President of the Financial and Banking Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA), held a meeting on December 15 in Moscow at the Eurasian Economic Commission’s headquarters.
The parties discussed issues of integration and business development in the EAEU countries, and cooperation between the Union and the SCO countries, as well as raised issues of interaction in the financial sector.
Besides, they considered outcomes of the Forum “Build Bridges, Not Walls. Business Eurasia in a New Reality” held on November 24 this year in Moscow. Bakytzhan Sagintaev has noted that the Forum is a productive platform for exchanging views in professional communities, as well as searching for business partners.
Following the negotiations, Bakytzhan Sagintaev and Li Shobin expressed their readiness for close cooperation within the Financial and Banking Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation.
