Prospects for deepening interaction between the business circles of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and Cuba were discussed at a meeting of the Joint Commission on Interaction between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of the Republic of Cuba involving Lusine Tumyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Business Development Department.
"Favorable conditions for business activities have been created within the Union," Lusine Tumyan noted. "Business development is the foundation of integration cooperation between the EAEU countries. Cuba, which has the Observer State status at the Union, is also actively involved in our common work in this field".
According to the EEC representative, deepening interaction between the business circles of the Union States and the Republic of Cuba, intensifying information exchange on the legal framework, the current state of the business climate in the Union countries and the Republic of Cuba, promising investment projects, as well as holding thematic seminars and expert consultations assume great importance.
In conclusion, the sides arrived at a common position that the exchange of views and proposals held at the Joint Commission would contribute to developing cooperation in the business sphere.
